NUMEROLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF 12th RABI UL AWWAL.
According to the Naqshbandiya order of the Gnostics, (………. whose spiritual lineage is traced to Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) through the Prophet's greatest follower Abu Bakr Siddique (R. A. )………..and which deals with Arabic Numerology and the secrets behind numbers and the higher codings in them…………….), the Number 12 stands for " COMPLETION" . And more precisely " PERFECTED COMPLETION".

12 months in a year. 12th month completes the year.
12 hours in a day and night. Twelfth hour completes the day or the night.
12 years of age signifies completion of childhood and entering into the teenage or adulthood from the year 13.
12 constellations or zodiacs in the sky. The age of the 12th constellation Pisces ( the Most Evolved constellation / zodiac ) , completes the cycle of the Ages. This cycle came to an end recently and fresh cycle began on 21–12–2012 at 12 P.M. ( Remember the date? And all the hullabaloo concerning this date 2 years back ? Some people believed the world was coming to an end ! But actually it was the old cycles coming to an end. Many old astronomical cycles came to an end on this date and fresh cycles began with New Alignment of stars ushering in the New Age on this earth. This is also the date when the Earth entered the photon belt completely ushering in the New age of awakening.
Same way, Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was born on the 12th of Rabiulawwal to signify COMPLETION OF THE MESSAGE and SEAL OF PROPHECY. Allah said he has completed his deen on the Prophet. and the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said in hadith he has been sent to perfect moral virtues.

The 1 +2 of 12 equals 3. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was born in the 3rd Islamic month of Rabiulawwal.
Now, in the Arabic Gnostic Numerology, for every number, there is an Ism Allah ( Name of Allah) associated with it and an Ism e Rasool ( One name of Prophet Muhammad ) associated with it.
For the number 3, The Ism Allah is Al Malik ( The Absolute Ruler ) and the Ism e Rasool is Hamid ( one who praises) as from the word "Hamd" which means praise. Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) praised Allah ( Malik) all his life and will also praise Him on the Day of Judgement and then Allah will grant him right to Shifaa't for his ummah. And because the Prophet praises Allah so much, Allah in turn gave the name Muhammad ( highly praised) to the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and raised his status high and now all ppl praise him.
Also 12 is higher octave of the number 3 which is an indicator of great understanding and wisdom.
